Charlie Bear here. Just a week or so ago, one of Mom Peep’s friends asked her if she was going to write a sequel to our book. I think the friend wonders if I’ve gotten over my three issues (the ones that almost caused me to be labeled unadoptable). Ha ha ha.

Get over them? No.

Live with them? Yes.

Sometimes, I’m like this cat:

I don’t see the answers to my issues that are right in front of me. And I’m not the only one with short-sighted vision. Mom Peep agrees (watch out…here comes a cliché) that she often doesn’t see the forest for the trees. Geesh, Mom. You’re supposed to be a writer. I expect more original material from you.

Anyway, don’t we all have this problem sometimes? But faith, it turns out, can help us to believe and hope. And work, that 4-letter word that means effort and perseverance, takes us down the road on our journey. Mom believes in me and she hopes for good days for me when I don’t spin and throw temper tantrums. She also works hard on managing my environment so I’m not too stressed.

So don’t do what the cat does. Look outside the box (ha, another one of those cliché things). You just might be able to work out a way to a wonderful solution.

Do you have something you’re working on today?

Many wiggles to you today,
Charlie Bear (and Mom Peep too)

Please thank Charlie Bear. He’s so faithful to bring fresh inspiration. And tell him, yes, I’m working on a new/old idea that’s been moving through my heart for several months.

Maybe a cliche here and there, but sometimes those old adages and “cliches” are just what one needs to … okay here we go… Get out of the box! Go beyond the limits, get over yourself…
Always welcome a little reminder of a profound and motivating cliche.
Thanks B.J. for your genuine heart.
    Love it!!!

    BJ,
Thanks for sharing Charlie Bear’s thoughts today. Spoke right to my heart. Perfect timing. Or maybe that was God. Whatever the case may be, I heard it loud and clear.

Oh, good. Sometimes, when God speaks to me…I don’t listen (right away). I’m happy you heard Him loud and clear.
      Warm smiles today,
      B.J.

You are doing exactly what the message says….looking for different ways to do things. It’s a challenge, but rewarding.
      Much love,
      B.J. and Charlie Bear
