But I Can’t See the End…

Hi Friends,

Sometimes, we are afraid to take the next step.

Submit a story for publication? What if they don’t like it.

Move to a new city? But I don’t know anyone there, and I’m afraid I’ll feel alone.

Start writing that book? What if it isn’t any good?

Zig Ziglar, and many others, say:

I like to ask myself: “What’s the worst that can happen?”

Editors don’t like a story I submitted? Okay, I’ll write others.

I moved to a new city and guess what? I put myself out there and made friends.

A first draft of the first chapter led to throwing it out later on and starting somewhere else, but that’s okay. I started.

It’s all about choices. We can choose to take a risk, or we can choose to remain safe in the harbor and never venture out into life. I say risk. Look down the road, take the steps, then reevaluate and go on from there.
