Mom Peep hasn’t taught me how to pray yet. She probably will, someday, but the closest I’ve come is to cross my paws. That’s a start, right?

I know Mom is praying. She’s praying that I don’t piddle on the comforter again, like I did before. It cost a lot of money to get a big comforter like that drycleaned.

But if you want to see some really cool dogs praying, check out this link. They are TRULY experts at it. Much more so than me, I’ll tell you that.

Thanks, Charlie Bear for the link to the video. And i’m sure your Mom loves you even if you don’t pray or do all the tricks other dogs do! in fact, the best thing a puppy can do for me is place his/her paws on my shoulders and give me a hug and a kiss. Those that can’t reach my shoulders can just give kisses.

      Marianne,

I love to give my Dad kisses and licks and like yours, I hug him too. Sometimes I get overly excited and my paws reach up and touch his face. He doesn’t mind, as long as my nails are clipped.

Mom Peep is different. She likes to snuggle me more than hold me on her chest like Dad Peep. So I lick and kiss her from there if I can. Most of the time, she’s kissing me!

      Barbara and Sunflower —
How cute that Sunflower can do that! I’m going to have to work on standing on my two hind legs. Right now, I like to do “down” a lot. It’s my favorite thing.
P.S. I think the name Sunflower is totally cute. It rocks, baby!

Lol! I think those pups (and kitties) have a lot more insight than we imagine.

      Kay,
I think they have TONS of insight and I’m eager to learn to pray just like them.
Thanks for making a comment on our blog post. Mom Peep and I appreciate you.

Very cute video you linked to! I never taught Rascal to pray. He relaxed like you are doing, Charlie, and when I came in the room, he would jump up as if I were a VIP, I wished I could tell him he did not need to get up from his comfy position on the floor just to say hi. I knew he was doing that just from looking at his eyes!

      Rascal,
I like to jump up and greet my Dad Peep like that. I hear his truck coming around the corner and I’m at the door with a wagging tail and a wiggling body. Just like you with your Mommy. You can tell her it’s okay that you get up and greet her like a VIP. She’s worth it.
