Charlie Bear here with a dilemma.

New Year…new me? Or New Year…same old me?

I kind of like me.

I like my body size (a trim under 20-pound butterball turkey size).

CB in Lake Arrowhead 023

I like my fur (salt and pepper with gray). And I have those great white paws and tuxedo front.

Charlie Bear the Present 2012

I like my personality. Okay, that could improve sometimes, like when I still do my spinning when I don’t get my own way or when I’m overstimulated. But hey, don’t you ever get over excited like when company comes over? Or don’t you ever throw a mini fit when you want something and you don’t get it? Fess up now. It happens, right?

So if the calendar is telling us to have a new you for 2014, or a fresh start, or a do-over, I say bah humbug. I’m liking me just the way I am.

And I hope you like you, too. Cause I do. You’re a friend of Mom Peep and a friend of mine. And I like that a lot about you.

Wiggles and woofs and HAPPY 2014 JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!

Charlie: I like the old you! I oogle your picture and dream of snuggling up with you or dream of Rascal coming back to life so that I could snuggle with him! I wish I had a dog and were organized enough to have a dog ( if you were — and you are — a dog, you’d want your meals on time and your walks!)….As for me, I am not a sleek person. 50 lbs loss is just a start on what I need to lose!

Happy New Year in a few days, B; J; and Charlie!

      Susan,
I’d love to snuggle with you and dream of Rascal with you. Someday (not too soon, though), I’ll be with Rascal over The Rainbow Bridge.
      Until then,
Wiggles and Woofs to you and Happy New Year!
