This is Artie. He was once without a home. Now he has a forever home with a wonderful owner thanks to the website of H.O.H. Helping Orphaned Hounds. This small volunteer-based no-kill rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, stray, abandoned, abused and neglected dogs.

HOH has two main goals:

♥ To find loving qualified homes for homeless dogs/puppies with people who are able to provide the pet with a permanent home.

♥ To promote spaying and neutering, thereby reducing the tragic consequences of pet overpopulation.

HOH helps mainly in the Arizona and Southern California areas. www.helpingorphanedhounds.org I know there are many other rescue sites, volunteers, foster homes for pets, and people willing to help animals.

QUESTION FOR YOU: What agency or website or people would you like to give a shout-out to for what they do to help animals?
