Charlie Bear here. I bet there are lots of you out there who adopted a rescue dog like me, or maybe a shelter dog like in the cartoon. Tell us about your furry friend. How does he/she make your life richer?

Have You Seen This Hidden Treasure?
Charlie Bear, Your peep mom should have a picture of me somewhere in the collection of her pet pics, different ones has sent to her. I am a rescue dog almost the spitting image of you. I have gotten Camera shy and will not let anyone take a picture of me,, I do not know why but when I see anyone with anything in their hands I run and hide; maybe i’ll get over it one day and let someone get a good one of me and send it to her. My favorite places are on the back of the couch, chair or on my peep Mom’s bed asleep. I always show myself for about 30 minutes until I can get settled down when someone new comes around, I just love people to death, no matter the sex, I love them to pieces.. I have almost gotten over most of my bad rescue habits and turned out to be a pretty ‘Good Fellow’, but still like to play “Tug of War”, my favorite game and play it every day if I can get someone to play it with me. You take care of yourself, Peep MoM and Peep DaD.
Wags and Wiggles..
Beaugie..
You know what, Beaugie, Mom Peep does have pictures of you and she’s shown them to me. We are like sniffing cousins or something. It’s remarkable. I like both people now too…though I’m partial to men for some reason. Mom Peep is good to me, but Dad Peep…well, he’s my fav. I know you understand.
Wiggles and Woofs to you,
Charlie Bear
Charlie Bear, Clyde makes our lives richer because he’s just so sweet–only wants one thing. To be WITH us. Well, and to eat, but mainly just to be WITH us. 🙂
Julie,
Clyde’s got it down! We dogs love our humans to pieces and will do anything for them. Kibbles and bits to fuel us is all we need.
Woofs and wiggles to you both,
Charlie Bear
Hi, Charlie Bear. Our dog, Kimi, was rescued by my husband just before it was her turn to be…well…you get my drift. I did not want a dog because my brother had just recently passed away after a tough battle with lung cancer. Kimi was very wild at first (her first family had taken her back.) With patience, lots of love, a chair and several shoes, Kimi has become a beloved member of our family. She sleeps in bed with my husband and I. I cannot imagine my life without her. Kimi is my best friend. Rescue dogs and cats are THE BEST.
Helene,
I totally agree with you! Rescue dogs and cats are THE BEST! And since I’m one…I wholeheartedly and resoundingly agree!
Sorry to hear of your brother passing away. Happy to hear that Kimi helped maybe to fill the void. I was a very wild boy when I came to live here, too. Like you said, patience, lots of love, and gnawing on some books helped me just like Kimi.
Woofs and Wiggles to you both,
Charlie Bear
Charlie Bear, I’m sure you’ve seen your picture on my peep’s Pinterest site. YOU are the BIG GUY in the Cute Animals board. Have you checked out my Mom’s pictures of her new pooch Bailey on Pinterest? What a character he is. He spends much of the day sitting on the sofa looking out the front living room window. He’s there right now. What a dog! Skippy http://pinterest.com/marshahubler/
Skippy and Marsha,
I am honored and humbled to be your BIG GUY in the Cute Animals board! I looked, and Mom Peep went and looked again, and said I am soooo cute! Thank you!
Bailey is adorable, especially with the antlers on his head! And we both love how he sits on the sofa. You are right: what a dog! Woofs and Wiggles to you both,
Charlie Bear
