Charlie Bear here. Finally I get to share my side of the history.
Mom Peep likes to say “If I knew then what I know now….” Well, I could say that too! And we’ll let you be the judge of the outcome.
Susan Kennedy says: Dogs are miracles with paws.
I concur! I am a miracle and I do have paws. I also have a lot of other things. Like deep-set eyes that sparkle when I’m happy. Like a cute little body that Mom Peep loves to snuggle and a cute little face she likes to smack kisses on.
I also have issues. Yup, they’re still there after all these years in my new home. I bark at other dogs (that fight or flight syndrome I guess), and I spin around and chase my tail when I’m stressed or excited.
But on the whole, I’m pretty good, considering when I came to live here five years ago I had so much more to deal with.
I’d like to ask you, my loyal readers to weigh in. Please respond by Facebook post, Twitter reply, or email to bj.taylor@verizon.net to this question: would you like me to tell you about:
- my issues (and how I work to overcome them)
- things I have learned (from big dog mentor Rex)
- tips on how to love a difficult dog (like me)
- something else from my point of view.
Please weigh in with the comment or just say #1, #2, #3, or #4.
Thank you from Mom Peep and me, Charlie Bear the Rescue Dog

C.B., Miracles do happen, even in the lives of lowly doggies like us. Aren’t you glad God led two loving people to give you a wonderful home? We are very thankful that God gave us Mom and Dad Hubler. We love them to pieces.
Bailey and Skippy
Bailey and Skippy,
Oh, I am indeed soooo happy to have this great home, just like you have a wonderful home. We’re pretty darn lucky dogs!
Woofs and wiggles,
Charllie Bear
I think #3 & #4 are different from what I’ve heard before. But will enjoy whatever you want to tell, Charlie.
Jean,
