Charlie Bear here with some news (news Mom Peep is ambivalent about). That’s a big word…ambivalent…but I think I know what it means. She’s not crazy about this news, and she’s not upset either. She’s in between.

Here’s why…

Today, Mom Peep got a birthday card. She read it and it said:

You Are SOOOOO 60!

She laughed and laughed, and then she put her glasses on.

This is what it really said:

Dad Peep got her flowers, gifts (even Dr. Scholl’s gel pads for her heel that’s bothering her as a gift from me…lol), and is taking her to Morton’s for dinner for the big 6-0. Pretty nice.

They say 40 is the new 60. Or is it 60 is the new 40? Does that mean 80 is the new 60? Mom gets confused. I tell her it’s just another day. And that she’s doing great. Hey, look at me…I’m six and that’s like 42 in people years. Geesh…talk about getting up there fast!

Happy Birthday Mom Peep!

      Julie,
Yup, I told her what you said. And she replied that this is indeed her best birthday ever! (P.S. I bet they get even better…but we’ll let her think this is the bestest of the best).

      Bailey and Skippy,
70? She sure doesn’t look 70. And I bet she’s having a ball with all the fun things she does. Forgetting? Mom Peep forgets things all the time. So far she has not forgotten to feed me. Good thing, cause we dogs love our kibbles and bits.
      Woofs to you both,
