Charlie Bear here with some Friday fun.
Ever have something that’s total drudgery? Something that is necessary, but tedious or dull to do?
Well, my Dad Peep has found the solution to one of his mundane tasks. See Dad does something really cool every morning, lunchtime (when they are not at work), and every evening. He cleans the dishes. He stands at the sink, rinses and cleans plates, glasses, silverware, and pots and pans. Mom Peep loads them in the dishwasher.
Drudgery, huh? Nope. Not for Dad Peep, cause My Daddy Uses Scrub Daddy!
This is not an advertisement for the product, I’m just saying that it’s one heck of a neat thing. Mom and Dad saw it on Shark Tank (they love that show and talk about all the pitches by all the entrepreneurs and the sharks’ responses), and after they saw it, Dad went out and bought it, I think at Bed Bath & Beyond.
It’s the coolest thing. It’s soft and yet firm. It’s squishy and yet scrubby. It’s big enough for Dad’s large hands and yet small enough for dainty Mom’s. And best of all:
It Makes Them Smile!
And isn’t that the best part of drudgery after all? To smile through it, to be happy doing it, to feel good about a job that is necessary and well done?
Do tell if there is something you found once to be drudgery and now you have made it fun.

CB, my peeps have never heard of them either, we will have to see if we can find them someplace. We do not have a ‘Bed, Bath & Beyond’ but do have a Body Works which I think is similar. Nothing much around here that is not mundane CB unless its sleeping, does that count? Take care BJ & CB…
Woofs & Wags,
Beaugie..
Beaugie,
Sleeping does count as mundane….but not to us dogs, right, Beaugie? In our sleep we chase, we prance, we pounce, we snore, we toss our legs in the air and our head hangs down, and we smile.
Sleep…blissful sleep, right Beaugie?
Wiggles to you as you slumber,
Charlie Bear
Very good point, CB. I’ve never heard of these nifty little sponges. Will have to look for them!
Julie,
Dad Peep loves them. Mom too.
Wiggles to you,
Charlie Bear
