Charlie Bear here with a summer fun update.
I was just thinking about how fast the days go. Ever find that happening to you? So here we are in the middle of July with summer half over. I’ve done a lot:
Taken Long Walks (Mom brings water for me)
Fallen Asleep After My Long Walks
Watched Dad Grill and Then Enjoyed a Safe Bone They Saved for Me
Went Back to Bed at 9:16 a.m. (ahhh…blissful summer)
Got Chopped Down to a Cool Summer Haircut
Remained on High Alert for Rogue Activities in the Neighborhood
Like new dogs in town. There’s one three houses down from ours. And he barks and barks.
He hasn’t learned yet that he doesn’t need to do that. Neighbors might think that’s me, cause he sounds a lot like me, but I don’t bark hardly at all.
And when he starts up, I don’t worry about it. Nothing I can do about others, right? Just have to take care of me.
So that’s my deal for the rest of the summer, and I hope your deal, too. Take care of you. Have a little fun. Sleep a bit. Enjoy a good swim if you can. Eat some good food. Take long walks (preferably with a friend who brings water.)
Enjoy the rest of July and all of August and why not tell me what you are planning to do for yourself?

A good deal CB, just walk awhile, trot a little, stop & rest a little bit, then it back to the house we go and don’t know about you but I be sure and leave a ‘Little Water’ for a lot of plants, shrubs & grass along the way there and back. Get what I mean CB? Well its nap time again so will shut up and lie down awhile…
Good luck, CB & your peeps,
Beaugie…
Beaugie,
I water as many plants and shrubs on my walk as my reservoir allows. In fact, I move in REAL close to water them as good as I can, but alas, my tank runs out quickly.
Woofs to you,
Charlie Bear
Glad to hear you’re having a great summer!
Marisa,
I hope you are, too!

I am so very proud of the adult dog that you have become. Way to go Charlie Bear!!!
Foster Mommy!
I am all grown up big now. And I have my big dog panties on when it comes to raising a ruckus. Seems I’ve outgrown most of those old ways. Whew, right?
Wiggles and woofs to you (and warm snuggles too),

what great advice, CB. You really aren’t worried about stuff that isn’t your problem. Good lesson for me tonight. 🙂
And look at you–your very own blanket out by the pool!!
Julie,
I’m rockin’ my blankie, huh? Mom loves to help me swim a bit and then I shake and shake and shake before finally stretching out for some sun.
Wiggles to you,
Charlie Bear
You gave me an idea. Thanks Charlie.
Meredith,
I don’t know what idea I gave you, but you are very welcome! Enjoy!
