Charlie Bear here.
I have a confession to make. I like to sleep. Sometimes in my own bed.
Sometimes upside down on the sofa.
Sometimes in my special spot that I love.
But when Mom and Dad Peep aren’t around I like to slink up the stairs, softly pad my way into their room, then leap onto the place where hours before they were snuggling under the covers.
Yup, here’s where I can smell their scent, feel their warmth, be close to them even when they are gone from home.
Back when I was a whippersnapper of a dog and I first came to live here, I got so excited about jumping up on the bed that I couldn’t hold it and left a yellow spot. Mom had to have the comforter cleaned. She wasn’t too happy.
Now I’m older, wiser, and hold it better. I love surrounding myself with softness in their great big bed, the sunbeams shining through the vertical blinds, a breeze wafting through the open window.
Ahhhh…pure bliss. What about you? What do you do when you want to feel snuggly, warm, comforted and loved? Do you have a place you go? Do you have someone you go to? Share what YOU do when no one else is looking.
