Did anyone tell the weatherman summer is over? What’s up with the heat around here?

I’ve heard that certain parts of the country had incredibly long stretches of hot days. Even here in Southern California, where it usually doesn’t get too warm, it’s been hot and humid.

I almost want to do what that dog is doing above…flatten myself on some ice and let myself CHILL.

What makes you cool off (like me after a swim)? What do you do when you’re hot?

Wiggles & woofs to all my chillin’ dudes,

      Clyde and Julie,
Rex the big dog loved to swim in the pool. Me? I stick my feet in and stand on the top step,, but Mom and Dad have to coax me to swim. I’m still not quite sure about having my paws off the ground, but I’m getting it.
Wiggles and Woofs to you both,

Hi Charlie! Would dogs drink ice cold water? That cools me off fairly quickly if I am not out in the sun. No summer haircut this year? I would think your peeps would get you a haircut if it has really been that humid this summer! Certainly no need to suffer.

      Susan,
I LOVE ice cubes in my water and Mom Peep gives them to me all the time. I had a haircut a month ago and — do you ever have this problem? — it grows back so fast! Mom says I don’t have fur, I actually have hair like a person. : o )
Thanks for the comments! I love to hear from you.
